What is the best way to start your day?
A cup of coffee and the view of sunrise on the mountains from the door of my tent.
What’s something you like to do the old fashioned way?
Read. I prefer to have an actual book, newspaper or magazine in my hands. I have recently been reading digitally because it is so handy but I prefer turning the pages of an actual book.
What is the most relaxing place you’ve ever been?
There is a large hot springs waterfall and pool about 30 yards up from the side of a river in Idaho. The first time I went there, nobody else was there except for my boy and me. The sun was going down and the setting was so serene and beautiful as we sat under the hot waterfall and made laps into the cold river. So relaxing after a tough weekend camping off of our backs.
What’s your favorite genre of book or move?
Non-fiction. Favorite genres are outdoor related books, business, Navy Seal/combat books like Lone Survivor and Fearless are good. Currently reading Boone: A Biography, up next is A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leupold.
